Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped carrots
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 5 chopped garlic cloves
- 2 1/2 cups chopped broccoli
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 box macaroni noodles
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Chopped bacon for topping
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, sauté the broccoli, carrots, onion, and garlic in olive oil and butter until the onions are browned.
2. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Add the chicken broth, milk, and seasonings to the pot. Let it simmer until hot.
4. Add the macaroni noodles and cook until almost done.
5. Add and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and let it melt.
6. Serve the soup with chopped bacon on top.
